Supporting Us

For over 57 years Whickham School has been making a difference every day to the lives of our pupils by inspiring them to be the very best they can be.

Our new building opened for teaching and learning in January 2020

Although the fabric of the building was provided by the Government’s Priority School Building Programme, most of the interiors, furnishings, specialist equipment, technology and resources had to be provided by School.  Some resources moved across, but we will need to raise funds to provide more.  We were overwhelmed by the support we received from the local community, business, alumni and charitable foundations.

We are always looking for ways to enhancing the education of today’s children, invest in future generations and help foster creative and enquiring minds and we are always looking for ways to raise funds to support that.
